SERVICES

Our art consultation includes:

Objectives

Through an onsite visit we analyse your space, form an understanding of the art style that interests you, what you would like to achieve and what your budget is.

We present our recommended approach in a follow up visit. Once the ideas have been discussed and the brief finalised we will work to source the agreed artwork, ensure you stay within the agreed budget, and complete the brief as requested.

Art Sourcing

In order to source a specific piece of art we have established connections with London galleries and artists, giving you access to exciting and relevant works. As an independent art consultancy service we are not exclusive to a particular artist or a series of art works instead the appropriate pieces are selected from the widest possible variety of sources.

As part of the artist selection process we have an advisory committee in place and are committed to working with artists that are of museum quality. To make sure that we keep in touch with what is happening in the art community we are continually visiting artists’ studios, exhibitions as well as the main art fairs and post graduate shows.

Commissions

We can manage the more complex process of commissioning bespoke and integrated artwork for your space rather than ready-made pieces. We then draw up a contract with the artist for the production of the work and take on the responsibility for monitoring the progress of the work to ensure that it is completed on time and on budget.

Rental

As part of any brief, we can source artwork for your space on a rental as well as an outright purchase basis. Rental is an inexpensive way of experimenting with different styles of work, allowing clients to gauge the impact of a new artistic style without the commitment to buy.

The rental period can be for a matter of weeks, or on a long term basis over several years. Flexible terms are available and art may be purchased later with a high proportion of rent returned.

Framing

We offer a framing service whether it’s for artwork you have selected from us or for artwork you have sourced from elsewhere:

We will work closely with both you and the framer to ensure the selection of the appropriate framing and mounting solution to enhance your artwork.

We have relationships with London framers, ranging from reliable and cost effective to the best in the business, where materials used are of museum calibre. This ensures selecting the appropriate framing service for your specific requirements.

We will arrange for the transportation of artwork to and from the framers

Installation

Our scope of service includes delivery and installation:

It is import that the artwork we supply is delivered to our clients in perfect condition. Wherever possible, we try to deliver the work ourselves. If this is not feasible, we can arrange specialist transportation of artwork throughout the UK.

To ensure the professional installation of our artwork, we use experienced picture hangers. Together with the hanger, we are on site to ensure the artwork installation follows the agreed brief and to give any on site design thoughts.

Completed Projects

Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club, Cranbrook Road, Wimbledon

Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club is regarded as Britain’s premier badminton club and one of Surrey’s top squash clubs. The club wanted contemporary artwork to freshen up its lounge area for the duration of the summer period and to coincide with the start of the Wimbledon tennis championships.

Guillochon Gallery worked together with an external curator and integrated selected artwork by both young emerging artists and well established artists in London. The artwork leased to the client was in a variety of media, including photolithography, collage on paper and oil on linen. Artists included Alexander Heaton, Ayaka Nozawa and Poppy Whatmore

Cleveland Villa, Gordon Road, Kingston Upon Thames

Cleveland Villa is a Victorian era property in Kingston upon Thames. The property features a beautifully extended sunroom with a contemporary feel created through white washed walls, ceiling spotlights and velux windows. Even the period fireplace is given a contemporary touch with a black marble base.

Guillochon Gallery worked closely with the client to select artwork to complement the environment. The artwork finally selected was by Adam King and Sinta Tantra, two established, London contemporary artists.
